This
is our latest project a 1957 Jeep Pick Up. We will be working on the
steering, installing a late model pickup column with shift linkage,
installing the brake booster, master cylinder and brake lines.
Install the fuel tank and lines, complete electrical wiring from
front to rear, heater and AC, install a new aluminum radiator,
Transmission cooler and lines, Seat mounts, Body mounts, Front winch
bumper, rear bumper, Nerf bars, Roll cage, Skid plate for the
transfer case and other items we haven't even seen yet.
The Project
was started by another party and then bought by our customer about a
year ago, so we will go over every thing done on it before and
correct anything not up to our standards here at Thompson MotorSports.
The Jeep
came to us with a rebuilt 305 engine and the customer purchesed a new
Chevrolet Ram JET 350 which we will mate to the rebult TH-350 and New
Process 205 transfer case. The Front Dana 44 which came out of a 1977
GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 has been narrowed three inches on each side to better
fit the front fenders. The front diff has had all new gears and an
electric locker installed. and rear Diff which was a corp 14 has been
replaced with a Dana 60 which has new gears and a Electric Locker. .
