1967 Indy 500

Mickey Thompson was back in 1967 carrying the colors for all you hot rodders. As usual, you can count on Mickey to come up with something unusual and controversial, to say the least.

This time it's a front-wheel drive machine that steers both the front and rear wheels. He also designed a 3 valve per cylinder head for the small block Chevy engine.

Mickey did not have a car qualify at Indy in 1967.
