This is a view
of the new Brake Pedal Housing and pedal. We had to move the brake
to the left side of the steering column since the brake booster would
hit the valve cover where it was installed if the booster rod was to
line up with the pedal. Since we have to move the brake booster over
far enough to clear the side of the cylinder head and valve cover it
put the pedal to far from the steering column which required the
brake pedal to be turned around so the pin for the brake booster rod
was on the left side of the pedal (normaly on right side of pedal) to
move the pedal closer to the steering column, and since this would
have mounted the brake pedal backward we had to cut the pedal arm and
turn it around of coarse this put the brake pad pointing in the wrong
direction which required cutting the pad off and bending the brake
arm to the right and reattaching the brake pedal pad. |
