This is a view of
the left rear suspension mounting points. "A" is the upper
shock mount. "B" is the upper spring pocket, "C"
is the fuel tanl mount which is connecten to a cross member which is
also the shock mount, "D" is the upper suspension link for
the diff. The lower suspension link is just below and to the right of
the upper mount, it isn't to visible in this picture.
If you look in the
picture at the "B" arrow in the background hanging on the
wall is one of Mickey Thompson's 1963 Indy 500 race car chassis. That
is the rear suspension at the bottom of the picture and at the top is
the front which is somewhat blocked by the jeep frame. |
